Closing Number

Swing Central was the Theme and the pageant was upbeat and fun!

Opening Number was "Jump, Jive and Wail" with performances by singers, Benjamin Henry and Brandi Petersen-Miss Omaha 2002 and dancing by the Miss Omaha/Douglas County Contestants along with the "Lindy" couple Bob Kropp and Krista Knicely-Miss Nebraska 2002.

Emcee's Bob Kropp, Krista Knicely-Miss Nebraska 2002 and Brandi Petersen-Miss Omaha 2002 were there to set the mood for each area of competition.  Brandi and Krista had wonderful stories to relay to the audience about their year of service regarding their platforms and what they had learned.  There were also several humorous stories (ask Brandi about the Swan and Krista about running into Stage Sets) that showed just how wonderful these two ladies were as our titleholders.

Entertainment was provided by Benjamin Henry, Bob Kropp and the Little Sisters, Brandi Petersen and Jenny Lemmerman (former Miss Nebraska and now Volunteer).

Closing number was "Rock This Town" with Benjamin Henry, The Miss Omaha/Douglas County Contestants and some "Back-Up Singers" Judges Jim Neighbors and Larry Gawronski.

Thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work in making this happen and to the contestants for having such a wonderful time!
